Merrimack Boys Ninth at JV State Meet

The Merrimack Boys’ Cross-Country team competed at the JV Division I State Meet on Friday, October 21, 2011. Jumping pipes and dodging construction on the course, the boys’ team placed ninth on the Mine Falls course. Coming in first for Merrimack was Ryan Sexton with a time of 18:56 and an overall place of fiftieth. Following Ryan was Brian Stankiewicz (18:58, 53rd), and Bobby Desmond (19:09, 64th).

Also placing for Merrimack were Sam Gustafson (19:25, 76th), Justin Dye (19:59, 105th), James Jolly (20:51, 137th), Schyler Vaillancourt (21:46, 168th), Keo Simomsen (21:53, 175th), Jake Zannoni (21:55, 176th), Troy Hartmann (21:55, 177th), Austen Bannister (22:15, 188th), Hersh Rai (22:50, 193rd), Alex Doyle (22:55, 195th), John Pitten (22:56, 196th), and Brandon Hargreaves (24:55, 216th).

For next weekend, Saturday, October 24, 2011, the Boys’ team will be competing in the Division I Championship race at Derryfield Park in Manchester. Hope to see you all there!
